The enacted bill permits owners or tenants of buildings in Philadelphia’s Sixth Councilmanic District to sell goods on the sidewalk next to their buildings when the sales support a business located there. Displays must stay within three feet of the building and leave at least six feet of clear pedestrian space; this activity is exempt from the section’s other requirements, including its license requirement.

Amending Section 9-205 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Sidewalk Sales," by permitting sidewalk sales in the Sixth Councilmanic District by owners or tenants of abutting buildings, under certain terms and conditions.
