This enacted ordinance authorizes the U.S. Department of Justice’s Federal Bureau of Prisons to construct and maintain 14 precast concrete planters on the public sidewalks next to the Federal Detention Center at 700 Arch Street. The authorization requires permits and a City agreement, and the Bureau of Prisons must remove the planters at no cost to the City when required or when they are no longer used for their intended purpose.
