This enacted ordinance changes Philadelphia’s zoning rules for R-2 and R-3 residential districts, including which residential and nonresidential uses are allowed and which require approval from the Board of Adjustment. It also allows family day care for up to six children in these districts, with a limit of four children in properties in the Sixth and Tenth Councilmanic Districts, and updates related technical provisions affecting R-20 districts.

Amending Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," by amending Chapter 14-200 entitled "Residential Districts" by amending Section 14-203 entitled "R-2" Residential District, and by amending Section 14-204 entitled "R-3" Residential District, and by making certain technical amendments, under certain terms and conditions.
