This enacted ordinance grants 3rd Wire, Inc., and its successors permission to build, operate, maintain, replace, and remove a telecommunications system in or under specified Philadelphia streets and public rights-of-way, including certain existing facilities owned by other entities. The work must receive required approvals, follow City conditions, and meet obligations such as obtaining permits, carrying insurance, paying fees, and relocating the system at the company’s expense when needed for public improvements; the permission does not authorize cable or video programming services.

Granting permission to 3rd Wire, Inc., its successors and assigns to construct; maintain and operate; replace; and remove a telecommunications system along, in and under the public right-of-ways and City streets and/or to place such telecommunications system within the existing facilities owned by Verizon-PA, Inc., PECO Energy Company, Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, CSX Corporation, Norfolk Southern Corporation, Consolidated Rail Corporation or other entities holding a grant pursuant to other City ordinances; all under certain terms and conditions.
