This enacted zoning measure amended Philadelphia’s zoning code to allow additional automobile-related uses in G-2 General Industrial Districts within the area known as the Philadelphia Auto Mall. Allowed uses include auto repair and body work, automobile service stations, car washes, public and private garages and parking lots, automobile sales lots and showrooms, and car rentals, subject to the stated conditions.

Amending Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," by amending Section 14-511, entitled "Industrial District Rules and Exceptions," by permitting certain additional uses in "G-2" Industrial Districts located generally within the area commonly known as the "Philadelphia Auto Mall," bounded by Sixty-third street, Passyunk avenue, Essington avenue, Bartram avenue, Island avenue and Lindbergh boulevard; all under certain terms and conditions.
