This enacted ordinance prohibits motor buses from loading or unloading passengers at off-street locations on the east side of City Avenue between 47th Street and Belmont Avenue. The restriction does not apply to buses operated under SEPTA’s direction and control, and it took effect immediately.

Amending Section 9-403 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Motor Buses," by adding a provision which prohibits the loading and unloading of passengers at off-street locations on City avenue, from Forty-seventh street to Belmont avenue, east side.
