The enacted ordinance amended Philadelphia’s Fiscal 2002 Capital Budget by increasing or adding funding for projects in several city departments. It includes funding for capital program administration and engineering, neighborhood commercial-center improvements, prison-system renovations, and a new 800 MHz radio communication system, using city, federal, and state funds.
