The enacted bill changes zoning rules in the Main Street/Manayunk Special District. It prohibits the expansion of existing restaurants, take-out restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, and similar food or beverage businesses with drive-in or take-out service, changes the rules for private clubs, and removes the district rules’ sunset provision.

Amending Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code relating to "Zoning and Planning," by amending Section 14-1615 entitled "Main Street/Manayunk Special District Controls," by amending certain prohibited uses and the sunset provision, all under certain terms and conditions.
