This enacted measure changes Philadelphia’s Center City sidewalk-vending rules for owners and tenants of properties on the 900 through 1300 blocks of Pine Street. It allows them to sell goods on the sidewalk without the applicable vending license, as long as the sales support the adjacent business, stay within 40 inches of the building, leave at least five feet of clear sidewalk, offer similar goods, and display items in one layer.

Amending Section 9-204 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Sidewalk Vendors in Center City," by exempting sidewalk sales by owners and tenants of properties in the 900, 1000, 1100, 1200, and 1300 blocks of Pine street, and permitting such activity under certain terms and conditions.
