This enacted bill authorizes the Commissioner of Public Property to amend the City’s lease with Far Northeast Senior Citizens, Inc. for a senior citizens center at Byberry-Southampton Road and Townsend Road. The amendment extends the City’s responsibility for public utility, sewer, water, and heating charges for an additional four years, after which the City may end that responsibility and the tenant would pay those charges.

Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City, to enter into a further amendment to a lease between the City and the Far Northeast Senior Citizens, Inc. for the use of certain property located on the northeast corner of Byberry-Southampton road and Townsend road, to provide for an extension of the City's responsibility for the payment of charges and fees for public utilities, sewer rents, water rents, water charges, and heating charges, under certain terms and conditions.
