This enacted ordinance authorizes the Center City District to construct, own, and maintain 97 pedestrian street lights along Market Street between 15th Street and the Schuylkill River, and 50 along John F. Kennedy Boulevard between 15th and 20th Streets. The District must obtain required permits, enter into an agreement with the City, carry insurance, cover related utility changes, and remove the lights if they are no longer used for the authorized purpose; the City will continue to own the electrical conduits and service.

Authorizing Center City District to construct, own and maintain 97 pedestrian street light poles and luminaries along Market street between Fifteenth street and the Schuylkill River and 50 pedestrian street light poles and luminaries along John F. Kennedy boulevard between Fifteenth street and Twentieth street, all under certain terms and conditions.
