This enacted ordinance authorizes the City to remove and vacate Melon Street between Sixteenth and Seventeenth Streets from the City Plan while preserving a right-of-way there for drainage, water, gas, and other public utilities. Property owners or other parties involved must meet conditions including granting access for utility work, covering required changes to streets and facilities, providing indemnity and bonds, and paying related advertising costs.

Authorizing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 63 by striking from the City Plan and vacating Melon street from Sixteenth street to Seventeenth street; by reserving and placing on the City Plan a right-of-way for drainage purposes, water main purposes, gas main purposes and public utility purposes within the bed of Melon street, under certain terms and conditions.
