The enacted ordinance authorizes the Center City District to construct, own, and maintain 27 pedestrian-scale light poles and 11 banner poles on and under public sidewalks along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and nearby streets from 16th Street to Eakins Oval. The Center City District must obtain required permits and approvals, follow city rules, and enter into an agreement covering insurance, maintenance, and removal of the structures if needed for a city construction project.

Authorizing the Center City District, 917 Filbert Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107, its successors and assigns, to construct, own and maintain a total of twenty-seven (27) pedestrian scale light poles with luminaires and eleven (11) banner poles with mastarms on and under the public footway of Benjamin Franklin Parkway and adjacent streets, from Sixteenth Street to the Eakins Oval.
