The enacted ordinance designates the playground at 8101 Bustleton Avenue, formerly called Rhawnhurst Memorial Playground, as the George C. Pelbano Playground. George C. Pelbano was a longtime leader of the Rhawnhurst Athletic Association who supported local baseball, football, and girls’ sports.
Naming the playground currently designated as the "Rhawnhurst Memorial Playground," located at 8101 Bustleton Avenue, and bounded by 2100 Solly Avenue, 8100 Eastwood Street, and 2200 Stanwood Street as the "George C. Pelbano Playground."
