This enacted change permits sidewalk sales on Germantown Avenue between York Street and Butler Street when the vendor sells only goods that are different in kind from those sold by businesses or tenants on the adjacent property. It also provides that a licensed vendor’s location remains permitted if an adjacent store later begins selling goods that conflict with the vendor’s products.

Amending Section 9-205 of The Philadelphia Code, relating to sidewalk sales, to permit sidewalk sales on Germantown avenue, between York street and Butler street, if the vendor exclusively sells goods that are different in kind from those sold by owners or tenants on the abutting property, under certain terms and conditions.
