This enacted ordinance grants Nehal Desai and Raju Desai, owners of the newsstand at 13th and Market Streets, permission to install and maintain electrical and telephone conduits under the surrounding public rights-of-way to serve the newsstand. The permission is subject to required permits and agreements, utility approvals, a bond and insurance, payment for any utility changes, restoration of affected sidewalks and streets, and maintaining an eight-foot clear walkway.

Granting permission to Nehal Desai and Raju Desai, owners of the newsstand at the corner of 13th & Market Streets, to construct, use and maintain an electrical conduit with an electrical service line and a telecommunications conduit with a telephone service line in and under the public rights-of-way for the purpose of supplying electrical service and telephone service to the newsstand, under certain terms and conditions.
