This enacted ordinance grants Ratilal Patel, owner of a newsstand at 15th and Ranstead Streets, permission to install and maintain underground electrical and telephone conduits connecting the newsstand to existing PECO and Verizon facilities. Patel must obtain required permits and approvals, meet insurance and bonding requirements, pay for any utility changes and restoration of the public right-of-way, and keep at least eight feet of clear sidewalk space.

Granting permission to Ratilal Patel, owner of the newsstand at the southwest corner of Fifteenth Street and Ranstead Street, to construct, use and maintain an electrical conduit with an electrical service line and a telecommunications conduit with a telephone service line in and under the public rights of way for the purpose of supplying electrical service and telephone service to the newsstand, under certain terms and conditions.
