This enacted ordinance authorizes the Chemical Heritage Foundation, at 315 Chestnut Street, to construct, own, and maintain an approximately 50-foot-long retaining wall planter that would extend about five feet into the north sidewalk along Chestnut Street, leaving 12 feet of clear walkway. The foundation must obtain required permits and approvals, follow City rules, cover related costs and insurance requirements, and remove the structure if the City gives 180 days’ notice for a municipal construction project.

Authorizing Chemical Heritage Foundation, 315 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106-2702, its successors and assigns, to construct, own and maintain a variable height masonry retaining wall planter on the north footway of Chestnut Street adjacent to their property, under certain terms and conditions.
