This enacted ordinance adopts Philadelphia’s operating budget for Fiscal Year 2006 and appropriates money from the General Fund and other funds to City departments, boards, commissions, courts, and related programs. The allocations cover areas including public safety, health and human services, streets and sanitation, water, housing and community development, schools, libraries, transit, debt service, and employee benefits, while also setting rules for how some funds may be transferred or spent.
