The enacted ordinance authorizes Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. and Urban Growth Property Limited Partnership to build and maintain an approximately 57-foot-long pedestrian bridge over Tenth Street between Chestnut and Sansom Streets, connecting a parking garage to the hospital. The bridge must meet city requirements, receive required permits and approvals, and be covered by an agreement addressing insurance, liability, utilities, maintenance, and possible removal for a city construction project.
