This enacted ordinance grants Rajedra Kothari, the owner of a newsstand at 17th Street and J.F.K. Boulevard, permission to install and maintain electrical and telephone service conduits under the public rights-of-way to serve the newsstand. The work must meet City requirements, receive any required permits and utility approvals, preserve at least eight feet of clear sidewalk space, and be covered by an agreement, bond, insurance, and restoration obligations.

Granting permission to Rajedra Kothari, owner of the newsstand at the southeast corner of 17th Street and J.F.K Boulevard, to construct, use and maintain an electrical conduit with an electrical service line and a telecommunications conduit with a telephone service line in and under the public rights-of-way for the purpose of supplying electrical service and telephone service to the newsstand, under certain terms and conditions.
