This enacted bill authorizes the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development to apply for up to $3 million in state Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program funding for renovations and improvements at St. Agnes Medical Center, at 1900 S. Broad St., as it transitions to a continuing care facility. The facility is planned to include acute care, skilled nursing, and independent living for older adults; the City or designated project recipients must cover project costs above the grant amount and may have to repay the state for certain ineligible or unfinished project expenses.
Authorizing the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development ("PAID") to file an application with the Office of the Budget, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program, in an aggregate amount not to exceed Three Million Dollars ($3,000,000) to assist in the development of St. Agnes Medical Center; and authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with PAID in furtherance of grant requirements; all under certain terms and conditions.
