The enacted bill authorizes the Commissioner of Public Property to transfer, for nominal consideration, a 4.96-acre tract of City-owned land and its buildings and improvements in the area bounded by Ruth, Clearfield, Emerald, and Orleans Streets to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development. The property would then be conveyed to the School District of Philadelphia; any net sale proceeds would go to the City’s General Fund.

Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property to execute and deliver to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development, for nominal consideration, a deed conveying fee simple title to a certain tract of City-owned land with the buildings and improvements thereon, situate in a rectangular area generally bounded by Ruth Street on the northwest, Clearfield Street on the northeast, Emerald Street on the southeast, and Orleans Street on the southwest, for further conveyance to the School District of Philadelphia.
