The enacted ordinance grants Muhammad R. Shaukat, who operates a newsstand at Broad Street and Montgomery Avenue, permission to install and maintain overhead electrical and telephone lines from an existing utility pole across the public right-of-way to the newsstand. Before doing so, he must obtain required approvals, enter into an agreement with the City, provide a bond and insurance, and meet other conditions.

Granting permission to Muhammad R. Shaukat, owner and operator of the newsstand located on the southeast corner of Broad Street and Montgomery Avenue, to construct, use and maintain overhead electrical and telecommunications lines from an existing utility pole over and across the public right-of-way, for the purpose of supplying electrical service and telephone service to said newsstand.
