The enacted bill amended Philadelphia’s rules for temporary parking permits in permit parking districts by creating a $7 permit valid for one calendar day for a resident’s bona fide guest. Residents may buy these permits in multiple units for use during the calendar year, but unused permits expire at year’s end and the Department of Licenses and Inspections may limit how many a household can receive.
