This enacted change to Philadelphia’s rules on artificial trans fats exempts certain bakeries from the prohibition when making or selling bakery products. The exemption applies to establishments that prepare and sell their bakery products on the premises, or at other locations they operate, as long as they have no more than three retail locations in the city.

Amending Section 6-307 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Foods Containing Artificial Trans Fats," by exempting certain bakeries from the provisions prohibiting the use of artificial trans fats, under certain terms and conditions.
