This enacted bill amends Philadelphia’s Public Employees Retirement Code to change the organizations that may receive deductions from retirement benefit payments. It adds the AFSCME District Council 47 PEOPLE PAC Qualified Committee as a designated payee when a member, survivor, or beneficiary gives written authorization.

Amending Title 22 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Public Employees Retirement Code," by amending Section 22-1303, entitled "Exemption from Attachment," to change the list of designated payees to whom a member, survivor or beneficiary may direct deductions from benefits payments, all under certain terms and conditions.
