This enacted ordinance grants Rekha Patel, who operates a newsstand at Juniper and Market Streets, permission to install and maintain underground conduits in the public right-of-way for electrical and telephone service. Patel must obtain required permits and approvals, meet City agreement, bonding, insurance, and utility-company requirements, and pay $200 toward the ordinance’s costs; the permission expires if these requirements are not met within one year after the ordinance becomes law.

Granting permission to Rekha Patel, owner and operator of the newsstand located on the southeast corner of Juniper Street and Market Street, to construct, use and maintain conduits for fiber optic facilities in, under and across the southeast corner of Juniper Street and Market Street, for the purpose of supplying electrical service and telephone service to said newsstand.
