The enacted ordinance grants Surenvra Shah, who operates the newsstand at the southeast corner of 19th and Market Streets, permission to install and maintain underground conduits across the public right-of-way to provide electrical and telephone service to the newsstand. Before using the permission, Shah must obtain required permits and utility approvals, enter into an agreement with the City, and meet bonding and insurance requirements; the permission expires if these requirements are not completed within one year.

Granting permission to Surenvra Shah, owner and operator of the newsstand located on the southeast corner of Nineteenth Street and Market Street, to construct, use and maintain conduits for fiber optic facilities in, under and across the southeast corner of Nineteenth Street and Market Street, for the purpose of supplying electrical service and telephone service to said newsstand.
