This enacted bill authorizes the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to construct, own, and maintain several overhanging structures extending into the public right-of-way over the east side of North Broad Street between Arch and Race Streets and the south side of Race Street between North Broad and 12th Streets. The Commonwealth must obtain required permits, enter into an agreement with the City, cover related costs and liabilities, and remove the structures at no cost to the City if given 180 days’ notice.

Authorizing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, its agents, successors and assigns, to construct, own and maintain encroachments into the right-of-way of the east side of North Broad Street between Arch and Race Streets and the south side of Race Street between North Broad and 12th Streets, under certain terms and conditions.
