This enacted law establishes Philadelphia rules for erecting, operating, lowering, dismantling, and inspecting tower cranes at construction sites. It requires owners and construction managers to provide project and insurance information, use trained and certified workers, follow safety procedures, and submit inspection records to the Department of Licenses and Inspections.

Amending Title 9 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Regulation Of Businesses, Trades And Professions," by adding a new Chapter regulating the erection, use and inspection of tower cranes, all under certain terms and conditions.
