This enacted bill authorizes Philadelphia’s Department of Public Property to enter into an agreement with the School District of Philadelphia for access to the City’s 800 MHz public safety radio system. Under the agreement, the City would provide the School District with radios and related equipment, while the School District would assign five federal licenses to the City and share control of five additional licenses, subject to federal approval.

Authorizing the Department of Public Property of the City of Philadelphia to enter into an agreement with The School District of Philadelphia for: School District use of the City's 800 MHz public safety radio communications system; provision of radios and equipment to the School District for use of such system; and assignment and co-licensing by the School District to the City of certain federal licenses for use of the 800 MHz spectrum; all under certain terms and conditions.
