This enacted ordinance allows the Department of Licenses and Inspections to extend certain zoning and use registration permits for one year when the permit holder submits a written request and the proposed construction remains the same. Each eligible permit may be extended only once; permits involving no construction or alterations are not eligible for this extension, and the ordinance expires three years after it became law.

Amending Titles 4 and 14 of The Philadelphia Code, respectively "The Philadelphia Building Construction and Occupancy Code" and "Zoning and Planning," by authorizing the Department of Licenses and Inspections to extend the expiration date of certain zoning and/or use registration permits, under certain terms and conditions.
