The adopted resolution proposes an amendment to the Philadelphia Home Rule Charter governing how notices are published for public hearings and bills, contracts open for bids, and proposed regulations. It would allow City Council, by a two-thirds vote, to set different or additional notice requirements, including possible posting on the City’s website, and would submit the amendment to Philadelphia voters for approval.
