The enacted bill increases several fees charged by the Commissioner of Records. Recording a deed now costs $174, a mortgage costs $144, mortgage satisfactions, releases, and assignments cost $142, and notary, officer commission, power of attorney, and other instrument filings cost $86; portions of the deed, mortgage, and related recording fees go to the General Fund and Housing Trust Fund.

Amending Section 10-1001 of Title 10 ("Regulation of Individual Conduct and Activity") of The Philadelphia Code relating to the fees charged by the Commissioner of Records by modifying the amount of such fees, under certain terms and conditions.
