This enacted ordinance expands Philadelphia’s definitions of “City Work” and “Non-professional Service Contracts” to include certain subcontracts for services such as landscaping, custodial work, security, demolition, snow removal, and building maintenance. It affects City contractors and subcontractors working on these services and is set to take effect immediately upon becoming law.

Amending Section 17-107 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Contractors: Labor-Management Relationships," by amending the definitions of "City Work" and "Service Contracts" to include certain subcontracts for non-professional services, all under certain terms and conditions.
