This enacted ordinance authorizes Frank and Ritamarie Olivieri, owners of Pat’s King of Steaks at 901-03 Wharton Street, to legalize existing sidewalk encroachments on the island parcel bordered by Wharton Street, 9th Street, and Passyunk Avenue. The encroachments include seating, trash receptacles, a storage container, signs, bollards, and an awning, and the owners must obtain required approvals, maintain about five feet of clear pedestrian space, provide insurance and a bond, and remove the encroachments within 180 days if the Streets Department gives lawful written notice.
