This enacted bill limits what towing companies can charge owners whose vehicles were reported stolen or illegally used by someone else without authorization. It sets a maximum towing and recovery charge of $105, including a $15 city administrative cost, and limits storage fees to $18 per day with a maximum of $175.

Amending Section 9-605 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Towing," and Chapter 12-2400 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Towing And Immobilizing of Parked or Abandoned Vehicles," by reducing the amount towing companies can charge owners of recovered stolen or illegally used vehicles.
