The enacted ordinance changes Philadelphia recording fees for deeds, mortgages, and mortgage satisfactions, releases, and assignments, increasing each listed fee by $30. Half of each fee would go to the City’s General Fund and half to the Housing Trust Fund; the ordinance becomes effective only after the Pennsylvania General Assembly enacts authorization legislation.

Amending Section 10-1001 of Title 10 ("Regulation of Individual Conduct and Activity") of The Philadelphia Code relating to fees charged by the Commissioner of Records by modifying the amount of such fees, under certain terms and conditions.
