The enacted bill revises how the City must publish notices about Council bills and public hearings, city procurement opportunities, and regulations proposed by city departments, boards, and commissions. It allows notices to be published on the City’s official website or in another designated way when the required newspapers are not publishing, while keeping other legally required notices in place.

Amending Chapter 21-1700 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Publication of Notices by City," by revising provisions concerning how and when required notices shall be published and advertised; all under certain terms and conditions.
