This enacted bill authorizes Philadelphia to organize the Philadelphia Health Center Authority under Pennsylvania’s Municipality Authorities Act for activities involving health centers. It provides for a five-member, unpaid board nominated by the mayor and confirmed by City Council, and states that the authority cannot enter an agreement with the City to transfer staff or facilities from existing City health centers.

Authorizing the City of Philadelphia to organize an authority to be known as The Philadelphia Health Center Authority, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipality Authorities Act, 53 Pa. C.S. § 5601 et seq., under certain terms and conditions.
