This enacted amendment allows an authorized towing company to temporarily move an illegally parked vehicle from hospital premises before a ticket is issued. The hospital must document the vehicle and request for removal, the tow company must leave the vehicle at a temporary location until an enforcement officer decides whether to issue a ticket, and police notification and other towing requirements still apply.

Amending Section 9-605 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Towing," by providing that a vehicle may be relocated from the premises of a hospital without first being ticketed, under certain terms and conditions.
