The enacted bill amended Philadelphia’s towing rules for private lots, private property, and driveways. It sets minimum sizes and readability requirements for signs warning that unauthorized parking is prohibited and vehicles may be towed, with a smaller sign size allowed for single-family residential properties, and requires towing companies to report sign locations to the Department.

Amending Section 9-605 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Towing," by revising the requirements for signs that give notice that unauthorized parking is prohibited and unauthorized vehicles will be towed from a private lot or private property, under certain terms and conditions.
