This enacted ordinance establishes the Fox Chase Environmental Control District, covering about 34.8 acres generally known as Fox Chase Farm. It limits the area to educational uses, including noncommercial agricultural activities and programs about horticulture, agriculture, the environment, and history, coordinated by the School District of Philadelphia or the Department of Parks and Recreation.
Amending Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," by amending Chapter 14-1600, entitled "Miscellaneous," by adding a new Section establishing the Fox Chase Environmental Control District, all under certain terms and conditions.
