The enacted ordinance authorizes Gerald Rothstein and Frederick Mumenthaler, owners of 1921–23 South Bancroft Street, to legalize an existing second-floor balcony that extends four feet over the east public footway of Bancroft Street. The authorization requires permits and a City agreement, insurance and financial protections for the City, and removal of the balcony at the owners’ expense if the City gives notice for a municipal construction project.
