This enacted bill approves the third amendment to the redevelopment and urban renewal plans for the West Parkside Urban Renewal Area, generally bounded by Parkside Avenue, Belmont and Girard Avenues, Lancaster Avenue, and 52nd Street. The plan authorizes acquiring about 54 properties for residential and related uses and provides relocation services for people and businesses displaced by the project; it states that condemnation is not imminent and depends on available public funds.

Approving the third amendment of the redevelopment proposal for the West Parkside Urban Renewal Area, being the area generally bounded by Parkside avenue on the north; Belmont avenue and Girard avenue on the east; Lancaster avenue on the south; and Fifty-second street and the Easterly Right-of-Way of the Pennsylvania Central RR Line on the west, including the third amendment to the urban renewal plan and relocation plan, which provides, inter alia, for the additional land acquisition of approximately fifty four (54) properties for residential and related uses; the provision of certain relocation services, as required by law; and declaring that condemnation is not imminent with respect to the Project.
