The enacted ordinance authorizes The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to construct, use, and maintain two pedestrian bridges over Civic Center Boulevard and retaining-wall tie-backs beneath the boulevard’s public right-of-way. The hospital must obtain required permits and approvals, enter into an agreement with the City, and meet requirements for insurance or self-insurance, protection of City facilities, and access for inspections and utility work.
