This enacted ordinance establishes rules for reporting wild raccoons that are damaging property, disturbing people’s peaceful enjoyment of property, or obviously sick or diseased and posing a safety threat. People may report these raccoons and their locations to the Animal Control Agency, which must address them under regulations using proven, lawful methods that are non-lethal when practicable.

Amending Chapter 10-100 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Animals," to establish provisions for the reporting of wild raccoons, and to provide for the manner of their abatement, all under certain terms and conditions.
