This enacted ordinance vacates a portion of Slocum Street northeast of Chew Avenue and moves part of the street’s northwestern curbline eight feet southeast, reducing the street’s cartway width from 30 feet to 20 feet. The vacated, city-owned area is incorporated into Pleasant Playground and Recreation Center under the Department of Parks and Recreation.

Authorizing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 204 by striking from the City Plan and vacating Slocum Street from a point approximately one-hundred forty feet northeast of Chew Avenue to its terminus northeastwardly therefrom and by relocating a portion of the northwesterly curbline of Slocum Street, from Chew Avenue to a point approximately seventy-seven feet northeastwardly therefrom, eight feet southeastwardly and incorporating the vacated area of said Slocum Street under the jurisdiction of the Department of Parks and Recreation.
