Philadelphia City Council adopted a resolution urging the Pennsylvania Legislature to pass bills concerning protections for victims of childhood sexual abuse. The bills described in the resolution would address time limits for criminal and civil cases, allow certain lawsuits after those limits expire, permit expert witnesses, and strengthen reporting requirements and penalties for failing to report suspected abuse.
